Microfinance Intern & Tutor

Arusha, Tanzania | July 2023 – August 2023

• Interned at a local microfinance NGO, analyzing challenges for small business owners.
• Taught basic marketing and English at a local college to help shop owners expand their businesses.
• Used Python word mining to analyze successful online shops and created a curriculum to help owners register on Google Business, increasing online impressions.
• Taught Japanese at a local Tanzanian college.

STEM Learning Group | Founder

(Grades 11-12)

• Founded a 5-member group to expand robotics and coding education and address the lack of early STEM exposure in Japan.
• Organized and led free coding and robotics workshops for over 50 elementary school students.
• Led a robotics workshop at Science Agora, Japan’s national science event.
